About

I developed Brain 2 Learn as a project about learning, brain and technology. This project was the 1st Prize Winner of the Innovation and Creativity Chair at Universitat Jaume I, Castellón.

Premios de Innovación y Creatividad INCREA

Thus, Brain2Learn was born as an innovative idea to improve learning processes through the study of the brain and the development of new technology (apps, mainly).

After winning this Prize, I started thinking about the way I could include this idea into my professional research at UJI (Universitat Jaume I). Finally, I have felt increasing interest on several aspects of learning and, more precisely, of learning a second language, such as helping students with dyslexia and other SpLDs (specific learning differences), or promoting metacognition in my Higher Education classes.

Now, and devoting my PhD in this specific field of research, I do want to acquire great knowledge about how the brain works in order to improve the learning processes of my students, and to help them with their academic achievement. This is the main objective of the Brain2Learn Project.

What you will find in this website, then, is a compilation of my publications on these issues, as well as a great deal of blog posts about publications from other researchers, interesting news, and events on the field.
